Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Phendukani Mabhida shot dead in Ward 18 of Mandeni
A ward councillor of the ANC has been shot dead at the notorious Sundumbili township in Mandeni, KwaZulu-Natal.
Phendukani Mabhida, the councillor of ward 18 at the ANC-run Mandeni local municipality was attacked by the gunmen at his home around 10pm yesterday and he was then rushed to hospital where he later died.
This is the same township where on Monday night two police constables and two other revellers were shot dead in a tavern – The News Box
