Kenyan media personality Oga Obinna has gone all out to make an impression, travelling to Migori by helicopter for the wedding of his friend and renowned Ohangla musician Prince Indah, which is taking place today, Sunday, April 13, 2025.

In a post on his Instagram, Obinna, who was dressed in a sharp Kitenge suit consisting of a white shirt and red-and-white striped trousers, was seen boarding the chopper in Nairobi with three of his friends, expressing his excitement about going to the wedding.

The chopper’s blades were already spinning in the video, and Obinna was heard saying it was just a matter of time before they landed at the venue, where celebrities are expected to step out in their best outfits and make big impressions.

Celebrities flock in

In separate clips shared by SPM Buzz, Kenyan celebrities were also seen showing off the outfits they were wearing for the event, and fans flooded their comment sections with love and admiration.

Among them was Lang’ata MP Jalang’o, who wore Ksh200,000 red-bottom shoes, matching them with the event’s theme outfit—white vitenges with blue floral prints.

Others who announced they were on their way to the event include comedian Terence Creative and his wife Milly Chebby, who posted videos of themselves on a plane while confirming they were headed to the wedding.

Also present is top city stylist and designer Bolo Bespoke, who was in charge of dressing the men.

In a video by SPM Buzz, he was seen wearing a sharp-themed outfit as he ensured all the groomsmen had their clothes properly fitted.

Prince Indah reposted the clips and said he was happy about his big day and eager to see how the whole event would unfold.

Indah is marrying his long-time partner, Queen Winnie NyaMigori McAramis, in a traditional wedding that is expected to wow many, especially considering how long he has taken to prepare and the shows he had to cancel to focus on the ceremony.

Cancelling shows

Indah, known for his energetic performances and loyal fanbase, said the wedding preparations have taken centre stage, prompting him to scale down his performance schedule this week.

“I can not keep calm; my long-awaited traditional wedding to my beautiful queen, Winnie NyaMigori McAramis, is finally happening this Sunday, he announced.

“In light of this special moment, we have decided to cancel most of our shows this week as I prepare for the big day.”
