Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones has hinted at something special for his most loyal supporters, and it could be the most exclusive fan experience yet.

Taking to his Instagram, the self-proclaimed OG shared a video of a small group of people at what seemed to be an exclusive music concert at an undisclosed location and revealed his plans to host an intimate backyard gathering at his newly acquired mansion for 200 of his loyal fans.

He then asked his followers for their opinion on the exclusive party.

“200 of the most loyal OG fans in my backyard for something like this soon. What do you all think?” Khaligraph wrote, sparking excitement among his followers.

Khaligraph’s mansion

The OG’s mansion caused a stir on social media on November 11, 2024, after a photo of his mum in his living room went viral. However, instead of admiration, some netizens turned his achievement into the subject of humorous debate, comparing it to a mall.

Some even went so far as to photoshop images of his home, adding shops and shopfronts to make it resemble a mall.

However, the OG did not let critics demoralise him. Taking to his Instagram stories, he noted that these were the exact problems he had been looking forward to.

Unaamka unapata unatrend sababu umejenga nyumba kubwa inakaa kama mall, God knows these are the problems I was wishing for,” he wrote.

OG’s inspiration

In 2024, during an interview with Oga Obinna, Yes Bana hitmaker disclosed that Nigerian singer Rude Boy inspired him to build a huge mansion.

“I went to Nigeria with Francis; we went to RudeBoy’s house. Buda ako na keja. You will come to my place,” he told Obinna.

“Now, when you go to Nigeria and see how RudeBoy is living, you cannot achieve that in an apartment in Kilimani. Me, bro, I wanted to live that kind of life maze.”

Besides being influenced by RudeBoy, he added that his family was also important; he became a homeowner.

“I was also looking at my kids; I’m looking at my wife. I need to secure these people. If anything happens to me, God forbid, I need to know that they are in a state I have left them comfortable, yani hata, you know. In your home, you can eat sukuma or even go to sleep hungry, but you shouldn’t because you have a backyard where you can plant sukuma, so that motivated me to begin home construction,” he added.
