A mother was violently thrown from her car and her children injured, including a toddler left bleeding from the ear and nose, after her abusive husband deliberately rammed into her vehicle as she attempted to flee with her children in Freeport last week.

The shocking incident unfolded when the woman, attempting to escape a domestic situation, was driving with her two children.

Her husband pursued her in another vehicle and rear-ended her car with force, causing it to veer off the road and crash into a nearby property then the roadway.

The impact ejected the woman from the vehicle and left her lying injured on the roadway. Both of her children sustained injuries, with the younger child, a 3-year-old, reportedly in critical condition due to bleeding from the ear and nose.

All three victims were taken to the hospital for emergency treatment. Their current medical conditions remain unclear.
