Bradley Marongo, popularly known as the Gen Z Goliath, who shot to fame at the height of the youth-led anti-government protests in June 2024, has opened up on plans to travel to India to be featured in a movie.

Speaking on the night of Friday, April 4, 2025, during a televised interview with one of the local TV stations, Marongo revealed how content creation has totally changed his life.

However, he disclosed that the field has its own fair share of challenges due to the feedback that he receives on some of his content, especially the one he made while in Dubai, which received a lot of criticism from Kenyans, whom he says misunderstood the content.

“Content creators hawana limit ya kufanya content. Unaweza furahia umefanya content ukidhania itaenda viral, na after hiyo utaona comments ni mbaya,” he said.

Marongo’s success journey

While sharing his success journey, Marongo disclosed that he will soon be going back to Dubai for content creation gigs.

He further noted that he has now become a good actor and that he will be traveling to India later this year to be featured in a movie, after which he will head to the United States of America (USA).

Nikikuelezea, kama November nafaa nikuwe narudi Dubai, December nafaa kuwa naenda India kuact movie alafu December or January hapo nafaa kuwa naenda USA,” Marongo stated.

He also disclosed that despite traveling more as a result of the support he receives from outside the country, there are Kenyan companies that have also been supporting him.

Dubai breakthrough

A few weeks ago, Marongo returned to Kenya after a months-long, all-expenses-paid getaway in Dubai.

The creator arrived on the evening of Monday, February 24, 2025, just hours after he took to social media to update his fans that he was en route back to the country and that he was beyond thrilled to be returning to his motherland.

Bradley left for Dubai on January 25, 2025, after receiving an invitation from the Zam Zam Brothers, renowned moguls in the electronics business empire based in Dubai.

At first, when news of his trip surfaced, many dismissed it as a hoax, given that he had only recently catapulted to fame and was still reeling from drama with his mother, who had accused him of abandoning her.

But it was not until he set foot in the UAE and began posting videos from some of Dubai’s most iconic spots that netizens finally put their doubts to rest.

Bradley, 27, became an overnight internet sensation after his towering frame caught the attention of Kenyans when he showed up at the June 2024 Gen Z-led anti-finance bill protests.
