Comedienne and content creator Diana Daisy has shared an emotional recollection of one of the most painful periods in her life.
Daisy revealed how she battled a mysterious and persistent health condition back in 2020 that pushed her to the very edge—until a powerful moment of prayer on a roadside brought her healing.
In a heartfelt Facebook post shared on Thursday, May 1, 2025, the entertainer uploaded a distressing photo and disclosed that it was taken during a deeply distressing time when she suffered from recurring boils that left her in constant pain.
The experience, she noted, was both physically agonising and mentally exhausting, and she recalled that she spent countless nights in and out of the hospital, unable to sleep and continuously tormented by a condition that simply would not subside.
“This is a photo I took back in 2020, a painful season I’ll never forget. I was in and out of the hospital almost every night, tormented by boils that wouldn’t heal and sleepless nights filled with pain,” she wrote.
She explained that every time she felt she was inching closer to a personal or professional breakthrough, the sickness would come back with force, as though determined to derail her progress.
While medical practitioners tried their best to treat her, she said their methods, although well-intentioned, yielded no results.
According to her, nothing brought relief, and even after seeking treatment from more qualified doctors, nothing seemed to ease the strange ailment — a situation which, she lamented, only deepened her sense of helplessness.
“Every time I got close to a breakthrough, sickness tried to stop me. Drs tried what they knew was the best, but it didn’t work for me.”
Then Diana recalled how she refused to succumb to the strange ailment and revealed that she pressed on, praying fervently to God, asking Him to heal her permanently and restore her health.
She explained that, at that point, she had nearly reached the end of her tether, yet with no other option, she continued praying and pleading for God’s mercy, holding onto the hope that He would one day grant her a miraculous healing.
Then, in what she described as a miraculous moment, something shifted.
On one particular night, while praying alone in the middle of the road, she experienced a breakthrough—one marked by the sudden bursting of the boils and a noticeable easing of the pain that had tormented her for so long.
She shared that healing truly came that night, as the boils began to dry up, and from that moment by the roadside, they have never returned. She insisted that this healing journey remain a powerful testimony she will carry with her for life.
“But I refused to give up. One day, I turned to prayer, and everything changed. I kept pushing, and by God’s grace, Jesus healed me. I remember zilitoboka usiku nikiwa kwa barabara nikiomba, and that’s how I made it. Since then, I’ve never been sick with boils again. Life is spiritual.”
Her post has since drawn admiration and heartfelt reactions from fans, many of whom praised her for her resilience, faith, and openness.
Some called her testimony inspiring, while others thanked her for the reminder that healing is not always found in hospitals but sometimes in moments of surrender and spiritual reflection.
Others, however, speculated whether her ailment was linked to a diet high in fat, as some believe that boils can be caused by poor eating habits, while others suggested that such conditions might be a result of curses.
