Standing at a staggering 8 feet 2 inches, Marongo has not only snagged a sweet business deal but also stirred up a storm of female fans.

One of his most high-profile admirers is none other than the notorious socialite, Manzi Wa Kibera.

Known for her outrageous antics and constant quest for attention, Manzi Wa Kibera couldn’t resist declaring her infatuation with Marongo.

In the comments on a Nairobi Gossip Club post that featured Marongo sealing his deal, the socialite confessed her undying love for Marongo after he secured the bag.

“Can I get his number, I think am in love,” Manzi wa Kibera wrote.

Gen Z protests

Marongo first turned heads during the Gen Z protests, where his towering presence made him impossible to miss.

He opened up about his life during a recent TV interview.

“My friend Mose, who works with one of the buses plying the Nairobi-Western region routes, invited me to come with him to Nairobi. He told me he was an upcoming artiste shooting some of his music videos but was yet to break into the mainstream music scene,” Marongo recalled how he came to Nairobi from Vihiga county.

“I sat on the floor mat along the aisle towards the driver’s side,” he recounted navigating a bus designed for average-sized folks was a bit of a squeeze for him.

With his newfound fame, Marongo’s been a magnet for content creators.

Despite the buzz, he’s kept it real about the challenges of finding clothes that fit.

“Getting clothes that fit is a nightmare. When I go to the market, individuals stare at me, wondering where this tall person has come from,” Marongo confessed.

He has been rocking only two pairs of custom-made sandals and has never worn a closed shoe because he hasn’t found a size 48 pair.

In the interview, Marongo disclosed that he had been working as a tout in Nairobi but is eyeing a big break into the entertainment world.

His goal? To become a household name and leave his touting days behind.

The tall Gen Z additionally divulged that he is a family man, married with two daughters who live with his wife in Vihiga – guess Manzi wa Kibera won’t mind polygamy.

Even though his height has put him in the spotlight, his main focus is on supporting his family and grabbing every opportunity that comes his way.

With his star on the rise, it’s clear Marongo’s journey is just beginning.
