Model and influencer Lynne Njihia has officially moved out of her ex-fiancé Eric Omondi’s house, just a few days after announcing their breakup.
On Saturday, April 12, 2025, Lynne shared a video on her Instagram page showing off her new apartment. The video gave fans a glimpse of her fresh start, and she captioned it:
“Baby steps.”
The video also had another caption on it that read, “You prayed for an apartment but forgot to pray for appliances,” hinting that while she may have a new space, she’s still in the process of turning it into a home.
This move comes shortly after Lynne confirmed that she and Eric had gone their separate ways. On Tuesday, April 8, she shared the news with her Instagram followers, bringing an end to their years-long relationship.
“Life update. I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Eric Omondi. It wasn’t easy, but it’s what’s best for peace, growth, and the future I envisioned for myself and my daughter. Here’s to new beginnings — always,” she explained.
The news came as a surprise to many fans, especially since just days earlier, the couple had appeared happy and in love during a romantic getaway to celebrate Lynne’s 24th birthday.
Eric Omondi is yet to comment on the breakup news.
Lynne, Omond’s relationship
Lynne and Eric share an 8-month-old daughter named Princess Kyla Omondi. The couple welcomed her in August 2023 after a long journey filled with emotional ups and downs.
When Kyla was born, Eric shared his joy and gratitude with his fans, saying it had taken him 41 years to become a father.
“It has taken me 41 years but finally God has blessed me with my own. The fruit of my loins. I feel like Sarah of Abraham of the Bible… Thank you, baby, for making me a father.”
Their parenting journey hasn’t always been smooth. In November 2022, the couple suffered a painful miscarriage, which they both opened up about on social media. Eric spoke about how they fought for hours to save the baby, but sadly, it wasn’t meant to be.
“Last night was one of the longest nights of my life. We fought for over 5 hours to try and save our little angel, but God had other plans,” he wrote.
Lynne also shared her grief, writing:
“I still can’t believe you’re gone… I will forever love you.”
The 21-year-old model and Omondi got engaged in 2023.
