The fatal accident occurred around 4:31 a.m. on the Sibley Boulevard ramp to northbound Bishop Ford Freeway.

Officials identified the driver as Tom Mya Lyons, a senior at Homewood-Flossmoor High School who was preparing to graduate in just a few weeks. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and it is unclear if speed, fatigue, or other factors played a role.
