Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga on Saturday, April 26, 2025, graced the traditional wedding of Becky Bett, who is former Roads Minister Franklin Bett’s daughter, in Kericho.
Issuing a statement after the colourful wedding, Raila congratulated Becky and her groom, Asbel, wishing them marital bliss.
“Congratulations to Becky Bett and her groom on the colourful traditional farewell party in Kericho today. Wishing the new couple marital bliss,” Raila wrote on his official X account.
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader also presented his best wishes wedding card to the couple.
In the vibrant ceremony, the bride was adorned in a blue sequin gown and soft glam make-up to complement her look, whereas the groom was dressed in a white African suit, featuring blue stripes and buttons that coordinated with the theme.
Raila, on the other hand, wore a crisp shirt in sky blue and black with presidential emblems, along with white trousers, a white hat, and a tribal cane.
The guests also dressed in neat tones of blue to match the wedding theme.
Other leaders who attended the ceremony include Mathew Owili, Beatrice Kemei and a section of Members of County Assembly (MCAs) in the region.
