Digital content creator Remcy Don, who went viral after claiming to be Kenya’s doppelgänger of American rapper Jason Derulo, has laughed off claims that he could be the father of comedienne Eunice Mammito’s newborn child.

Speaking during an interview with SPM Buzz on Wednesday, 9 April 2025, Don said people should stop spreading the rumours and instead consult Google to find accurate information about whether or not he fathered the comedienne’s baby.

According to him, all information about him is readily available online, and he hinted at not having had a close relationship with the popular comedienne.

“Now that one… Go and ask Google. Google works. That’s why it came — to make things easier,” he said.

Parenting posts and Pappito

Further, Remcy — who was being hosted by Shiku Gitau — also spoke about whether his recent posts about babies meant he was experiencing a similar baby fever phase as the comedienne.

On that, he acknowledged having made posts related to parenting but still refused to give a direct answer, saying Google still held the answers to that too.

“Just go and search there, and you’ll see. Even those posts about parenting — you’ll find them,” he said.

Remcy, who appeared in the interview looking sharp in a black and white suit, also responded to questions about whether his new nickname, Pappito, meant he was attempting to mirror Mammito by creating a name that strikingly matched hers.

He still insisted that the answer to that could be found on Google — leaving his fans with mixed reactions.

Bundle of joy

Comedienne Eunice Mammito welcomed her bundle of joy on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, and shared the exciting news with her fans on Instagram.

She then posted a heartwarming photo of herself breastfeeding her newborn in the hospital.

This sweet moment came just a day after she cheekily asked her fans what to do when her water breaks, keeping her followers excited and eagerly waiting to see her new baby.

Pregnancy journey

The former Churchill Show stand-up comedian has been open about her pregnancy journey, delighting her fans with her comedic timing and relatable content.

On October 29, 2024, she left her followers in both shock and stitches after unveiling a baby bump just hours after publicly claiming to have maintained celibacy for an entire year.

Taking to her Instagram page, Mammito showed off a small but noticeable baby bump while sharing an ad campaign.

She captioned the video, “Muurima ‘uliguzwa’—loosely translated to ‘The mountain was touched.”

In December 2024, Mammito opened up about her pregnancy, sharing that it was planned. However, she opted not to reveal any details about the father of her child, only mentioning in an interview with Betty Kyallo that they share a strong, private relationship.

“He’s not in the entertainment industry, and that’s something I truly appreciate,” she said, highlighting her wish to keep their relationship out of the public eye.

Mammito’s love life

The queen of comedy has kept her romantic life private after her relationship with Eddie Butita ended in 2021.

In 2022, in an interview with Kameme TV, Mammito clarified her status, noting that she was single and ready to see other people.

“I do not have a man in my life. I am single, and any single man who is interested can hit my DM,” she shared.

When asked about her past with Butita, she did not elaborate. Notably, Butita himself remained silent on their breakup. On his birthday, Mammito did not acknowledge him, although Butita remarked he hadn’t noticed any issue and thought she may have simply forgotten.

Later that year, in a Milele FM interview, she playfully commented on her relationship status, noting that she would never be single.

“Mimi nakaa kukaa single hata siku moja? Nikaiwachwa tu hivi watu wako kwa line,” she joked.

Mammito mentioned being in a new relationship with someone who was not in the public eye, choosing to keep details under wraps.
