Easter messages
In his Easter message, Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign & Diaspora Affairs Musalia Mudavadi called on African nations to choose peace over conflict.
Mudavadi reflected on the power of forgiveness, unity, and hope. He highlighted that Easter serves as a reminder that from suffering comes salvation, and from silence, new life arises.
“This Easter, we are reminded that out of suffering, salvation comes. That, from the silence of the tomb, new life rises. And that no night, no matter how long, can overcome the promise of dawn,” Mudavadi said.
“As Christians around the world mark the resurrection of Christ, we are called not only to rejoice but also to reflect.”
In his Easter message, former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka urged Kenyans to use the Easter holidays as a period of spiritual rebirth and national awareness.
“As we celebrate Easter, I ask each and every one of us to pause and reflect on the life, sacrifice, and message of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Easter is a precious remembrance of Christ’s journey to Calvary, which he took not for himself, but for the salvation of all mankind. Let this be a period of spiritual rebirth and national awareness. Wishing you all a blessed Easter,” Kalonzo stated.
