Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Police in search of man, Omar Orozco, who was shooting in the air at a wake while Corridos were playing in Zumpango.
The Zumpango Municipal Police, the State of Mexico Security Secretariat, and members of the State of Mexico Attorney General’s Office have already launched a joint operation to locate the perpetrator.
Authorities urged the public to cooperate with the investigation. If anyone has information about Omar Orozco’s whereabouts, they can report it anonymously to the emergency numbers or directly to the Attorney General’s Office.
The case has raised concerns among local residents, who noted that such violent acts have become more frequent at social gatherings, especially when linked to individuals involved in criminal activities.
The video of the attack, circulating on social media, shows Orozco wielding two guns while firing into the air and at random points off camera, amid background music. The footage was key to his identification.
